Is Anesthesia Safe?
One of the most anxiety-causing factors around having a pet undergo surgery is concerns about anesthesia. While any anesthetic procedure carries a small risk (even in human medicine), our experienced and talented team ensures that every step is taken to make your pet’s procedure as safe and comfortable as possible.
We conduct a thorough pre-operative exam of each patient, including bloodwork and any additional necessary diagnostics. Each patient’s anesthetic protocol is tailored precisely to their individual health, specific needs, and the procedure being performed. While your pet is under anesthesia, they are continuously monitored by both state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated and trained staff member.
