What to Expect
Generally, your new puppy or kitten should be seen every three to four weeks from the time they are six to eight weeks of age to about four to five months of age.
During this time, we will monitor your furry friend’s growth and development, screen and treat for any intestinal parasites (not uncommon in young pets), and get them started on routine parasite prevention. We’ll work with you to determine the right vaccinations for your pet and their lifestyle. Some vaccines (like rabies for dogs) are required by law; others are strongly recommended, and some are recommended based on your pet’s risk level.
