Dr. Daniel Allen grew up in Northern Virginia before he moved across the country to Southern California to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. After obtaining his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree, he completed a prestigious small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery. He then began working as a general practitioner veterinarian in the San Diego area for five years before ultimately achieving his goal of becoming a practice owner. His primary interests include neurology and preventative medicine.
Dr. Allen loves living in San Diego and enjoys spending his downtime relaxing poolside, trying new restaurants, reading novels, and traveling around the world. Dr. Allen and his partner have two rescue dogs that they absolutely adore, named Lexi (a Shetland Sheepdog mix) and Kona (an American Pit Bull Terrier).
